How to Use Sprout

Setup: Place the Sprout unit on a flat surface and connect it to a power source using the USB-C cable.

Temperature Selection: Locate the temperature switch access at the bottom of the unit, next to the LED. Carefully insert the key included and gently press and release.

Add Seeds and Solution: Place your seeds in the pod, add the appropriate germination solution and cover with the lid to maintain humidity.

Monitor and Adjust: Hydrate as needed. Don't let the pads dry out. Avoid frequent lid removal to prevent temperature fluctuations and evaporation.

Transplant: Once the seeds have germinated and developed a tap root, carefully transfer them to your preferred grow medium.

Worth the investment

I was very hesitant on purchasing a sprout because of the price + my paper towel method usually works for germinating seeds. But after losing some seeds because my paper towel dried out once,and also occasionally not having success with some of my seeds, I decided not want to lose any more of my seeds during germination. Once I received my sprout, I experimented with a bunch of Cannabis seeds that a friend gave me because of an unknown male plant mixed with his females. I used the paper towel method with a heating pad, and 3 out of 10 sprouted within 5 days, I also put 10 seeds into my new sprout canister and nine seeds sprouted within 3 days. I am very happy with my purchase think it is definitely worth the investment

Great Product

Works flawlessly and completely eliminates the guess work from germinating. While the price is high if you're accustomed to free options, I've found it worth the cost in time and energy saved not having to use other methods.

Great Idea

I've used this 2 times now and cant seem to get any beans to pop. I've followed instructions and even emailed asking if it might be defective. It's a great idea and works for some but for some reason I have had zero luck with it.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I recall receiving a voicemail one evening stating that it didn't feel warm to the touch and you didn't think it was working. I replied with the email below:

'We received a message about the unit not feeling warm. We strongly encourage everyone to go over our instructions, warranty and faq page before purchasing or use to make them familiar with what to expect. The unit won't feel warm to the touch unless your hands are cold. There's a more detailed explanation the 4th question down on the faq page, along with power requirements and a lot of other vital information to the proper function of the unit.

One way to derail germination is to remove the lid, change temperature setting or unplug and plug it back in because you don't feel it is warming. Temperature consistency is key. It is also essential to use a name brand 5v power adapter. Apple is best by far. There is a shocking amount of inconsistency with power adapters on the market. It is possible for an adapter to fit the plug and light up the unit, but not provide a proper, consistent 5v. This is a highly accurate piece of equipment that requires proper power. Avoid excessively long cords, 3ft or less is best.

Additionally, we advise customers to clean with isopropyl alcohol before and after each use to prevent damping off pathogens. Using only spring or distilled water to germinate.

Ultimately, there is nothing about Sprout that would prevent germination. One of our customers doesn't even plug the unit in if his room is in the 70s. He likes the channels for passive air flow and the even temperature distribution.
